Bug Thread

Not a request for features, I think this needs Tweaking.

Hi,

I am sure tweaking and maybe some last minute features will make the game.
Is there a thread yet that details known bugs?

I played a game last night on a Medium Map and after 3 hours or so the Graphics started flashing on and off. The game did not crash but the flashing graphics made it not possible to play after awhile.

May want a refresher to the debug process.

Load Smartexception?
Send reproducible save games how and to who?
Send logs created by Smartexception how and to who?
Anything else? Unless if I am wrong hardware and driver information is in the Smartexception log.

Check the beta report forum area. There is a sticky which tells you what to do with bug reports.

Most threads are related to GCII not Dark Avatar but I do see some threads for Dark Avatar in that area.

I have not yet seen a sticky thread to DA bugs in either section.

The general rule in the sticky is that you send your bug reports, debug.err, screen shots, saved games etc to the [email protected] address. This address is actively monitored by SD and the best place to submit your bug reports. Cari told that if you like you can do a own thread about it to the beta reports section. Its all in here thread

So there is no sticky thread for all the bugs, just separate bug report threads. There are some threads that have summed up many bug and improvement ideas, but no sticky. ps. Beta reports is exclusively for DA as there is no other beta going on.

Don't sweat making a report that others have already made, just go ahead and post anything you find.
