Any volunteers?

Skin something you've never skinned before

Greetings skin enthusiasts.

I have a challenge, if any skilled skinners are willing to give it a shot.  I work on a helpdesk, and I'm forced to use this bare-bones instant messenger program called IPSWITCH, developed by Ipswitch, INC, who also now own the WS_FTP brand ftp tool.  Ipswitch Messenger doesn't do that much, but as it turns out it is skinnable!  The problem is, I don't have a skinning program, and I've never made a skin.  I'm hoping that one or a few skinners might be interested at making some skins for this messenger client.  Maybe some seasonal/holiday skins?      It'd be grateful for any efforts!   'Doodge'

I found a PDF instruction sheet on how to do it, and the files needed are below:

I'm going to give it a try........ but I have no server to connect to. That's means I can't see (and therefore can't test) all the elements.

Right on. That'd be great. Yeah, I guess the lack of a server is a hindrance. What's odd is that our server is actually running on our Director's workstation.    Ipswitch has a trial version you could download, I suppose, but, once again, it's all voluntary. I really do appreciate any efforts.

So, check this out. I figured there'd be no takers, and being of the tinkering sort, I started experimenting. I only have MS Paint so I can't really 'design' my own graphics, so I cut & pasted from existing graphics. It's wierd because it's a single bitmap file, so I measured the individual pieces and cropped graphics to fit those parameters, so on, so forth. I'd really like to get a good graphics program, so I can make my own.

Here's what I came up with so far. I took a screenshot of the bitmap, with a pic of what the contact window & dialog window look like.

Thanks! I think if I ever get some decent software, I'll probably get more into skinning. It's kinda fun. Laborious! ...but fun.
