A RTS with truly cusumizable stuff

you know what ive been wishing of for soooo long? a RTS with fully cusumizable units (i mean all the way down to being able to make the parts for units) the best exisiting game ive seen with this is GalCiv2, but the ship deisigns are very limited in terms of funtionality, and that you can only control things at a galactic level, well, it just isnt enough. What i want is a game where you can make buildings, defences, units, even parts of the units all by scratch (or just use a crappy premade army)

PS and if you make a game like this may i please be in the beta?

To my knowledge games that allow you to customize units to a degree are Earth2150, Earth2160 and Warzone. The design phase is a little basic ie. you get to choose chassis, weapon and defence but the looks are off limits. You also can't stack more weapons than there are slots one the chassis and such things.

Impossible Creatures by Relic is what you're looking for. The way creatures are made is exactly how you want it to be - you put together the various creature body parts and then create them. Check it out and see if that's what you want.

i have IC, it is nothing like what im talking about, i mean being able to custumize things to the point where you arent even using the same parts for vehicales as other people, being able to make bases, units, parts, defences, wepons, factories, even your speices all by scratch with an in game editor. so far, the closest anyone has come to this is spore, whitch is very close to what i want, just not quite what im looking for (it still looks awesome anyway

)
