Goals: Defeat "evil" (drengin, yor, perhaps korx) civilisations through miltary might. Defeat the rest through culutral dominance and diplomacy. Will trade only with good civs.
Brief History[/B]
2018: European Union expands to russia, making it the biggest power ever known to man.
2031:The American Federation is formed to counter the european union's growing power, combining north and south america into one power.
2043: Going with this trend of unification, Asian states merge to form the Pan Asian Conglomerate.
2048:The Oceania confederation is created. While not large enough to compete with the other states, it creates strong diplomatic and economic ties with Pan Asia.
2049:The discovery of fusion power.
2050's:Both the Middle East Coalition and African Union are formed out of absolute necessity to compete with the economic giants of asia, europe and america.
2064:Fusion power becomes widespread and worldwide in use. The global warming and energy crisis threatening humanity abates.
2090:Fusion power has provided massive improvements in manufacturing, food production and has all but eliminated poverty.
2100:Marking the end of the 21st century. The Global powers give an increasing amount of power to the united nations, a step towards the total unification of earth.
2117: The discovery of the Arcean probe.
2020: United Nations replaced with the Terran Alliance due to the changing nature of "galactic" scale politics.
2170: With the spread of hyperdrive and fusion technology not having the desired effects, humanity gears up for war, politics, trade and science on a level never seen before. Under the banner of the Terran Alliance and with an indefinent term in office, Alan Bradley leads humanity into a new age.
2178: First colony ship launched.
