how do i use a downloaded skin, cursor, etc.

i downloaded a couple skins and cursors but how do i use them? the skin has the .desktop file end and when i rightclick on the desktop, go to properties and desktop, it wont accept the .desktop type... any1 know how to use it? btw same thing with the cursor no clue how to use it.

At the top of each skins gallery there is a Gallery Description box with links to the software needed to use the skins.
ObjectDock - Access shortcuts and frequently used applications from an animated dock.

Hi, sorry for my English (Me Tarzan, You Jane) I have the same problem, I downloaded a lot of suites, cursor, package icons, desktop theme etc. and I dont konw how install in my PC... Thanks

Like Cavan1 said, you will need to download the software that runs them first. You can see the list of all the software at this link. Get the software that goes with the type of themes you downloaded. WWW Link
