I for one have never seen a request for the removal of that thread, by you or anyone else.

It has long past turned into a social conversation of absolutely no relevance to you, and I had always assumed it was a Joe User thread initiated by a Joe User person whom could do as he saw fit with its deletion/editing....at will.

Aside from that, I'm personally not too enthused about publicly-voiced threats against any person or entity.  You may wish to check with your 'evil lawyer in the family' about whether it's a 'good thing' to post such in public at all.

If it's simply your wish to be removed from Wincustomize.com and/or JoeUser you need but ask...

Hehe, I love how people make a thread and later ask it to be removed. All that says is they should have given it more thought before making the thread. My signature on another site is...Post like you were talking to the person face to face. Now if your 6'6" and 250, I guess that phrase doesn't count. Oh well...

Nothing that I am aware of has been said about your business or the quality of whatever service you provide. Everything that I have witnessed has been said in reference to your attitude and what you've expressed here. I don't think offering personal opinions of such is in any way defaming you if that is what you are getting at.

Look at Bill Gates and how he is talked about online. He's a guy with deep pockets personally and a corporate war chest that extends into more figures that most of us will ever be able to imagine. Why hasn't Bill Gates made a legal example of everyone that called him a moron?

Maybe because it would make him look like a crybaby or a bully? Maybe, just MAYBE it would validate to consumers what his detractors are saying about him? Maybe he has the good sense to realize that dropping to their level will soil him worse than their ire?

Joeuser is a blog site, and part of the Stardock family of sites. Maybe you should go back and reread your original post and consider if people in glass houses should throw stones. Are your original accusations well founded? Could this idea of defaming someone's business be turned around on you by someone who obviously has a BUTTLOAD more legal resources than you do?

Word to the wise, courts bite back, and you might not want to end up paying for Stardock's legal expense in the end when it gets turned back around on you.
