Give war a chance!
I have heard for years that we should give peace a chance. A great man named Iosef Vissarionovich Stalin once said, a single death is tragic, a million deaths is a statistic. We cry and wring our hands with every death in Iraq. No one really cares that Americans died over there. They are only interested in hurting their current president. If the critics really cared then they would be worried about the 48 to 50 thousand people killed each year in auto accidents. How come none of these people want to ban hammers and knives which account for almost half the murders in Great Briton? Millions of people around the world are murdered by dictators and no one cares about them. North Korea starves millions of people every day while the leader is living in luxury and no one cares. Not one person has been on TV screaming about how the leader of North Korea snatches people off the streets in other countries because he likes them. No one seemed to care that when Mr. Carter was president we lost 5000 service men and women a year for his four year term. Yeah, 20,000 men and women died as a result of President Carter being in office. 4000 people a year died while Mr. Clinton was president for 8 years. 32,000 military people dead. The first President Bush lost less than 300 service men and women in war. The current president has lost 3000 people in three years of war and everyone wants to cut and run. To those that complain that the war is too costly should do the math. Two Democratic Presidents accounted for 52,000 dead military. Two Republican presidents accounted for almost 4,000 military deaths. We lost 58,000 people during all of Vietnam, started by the Democrats. We are losing less people during war than during peace. Save lives support war! Sing with me people!
“All we are say--ing. Is give war a cha--nce”
Logic dictates that if there are less people being born then there would be less people that die.
Make war not love!
Although I injected a little comedy here my facts are real and come from the military yearly report to Congress the numbers have been rounded down for the Democrats and up for the Republicans by me.
