Demo last 5 minutes ...

The game looks good so I downloaded the demo (thanks to the announcement on the galciv2 forums)

1GB download, and I could play only 5 minutes ...
I did not even complete the training

how can I test a game with a 5 minute try on such a big gigantic game ?

whatever I will probably buy this game from stardock, as I said, it looks good, it's cheap, it's stardock and there's no starforce...

these are all good reasons to buy it sooner or later

but still I'm a little disappointed by the 5 minutes of play

Apparently the demo has a time limit of 3 in-game years or 1 hour of real-time. I've added a notice about this to Space Rangers 2's TGN page.

Hum I'm ok with such a limit
It appears there's a problem here though because my game did not last 1 hour at all
I did not check about years though

edit: just checked a savegame I made at the end
the date was "9 february 3300"

Well, I have experienced a short demo too. I am wondering if it can be linked with the fact that I have installed the demo, launched it, exited the demo and launched it few hours late and take some time to read the manual from the game. 

And when the time demo is reached, you can no longer move your ship in space, even if you restart a game.

I launched the game, then read the manual and relaunched the game too !

Not sure. I'm pretty much only able to go off of what Cinemaware is telling me at this point.

I've played the Demo about 5 times trying different things. At most I've only has about 30 mintues of game play, which equates to about 3-4 months in game.
