What an email client should be

I discovered this neat little email client and it even made me switch from Thunderbird. It integrates nicely into Messenger, and has a great UI. The spam filter is effective, however I need to turn off the preview pane when I go into the Junk Email folder. (It automatically opens the email!) It is very fast, and it stays in my tray, but it uses 60MB of RAM.
It works how software should work, really.. Never bugs me about anything, and is really simple. And because it stays in my system tray, it tells me if I have new email. (Well, actually Messenger does, but Mail shows a little icon and plays a sound.)
It puts both my Gmail and my Windows Live Mail accounts in the same window, and lets me choose what to send with. It works seamlessly with both services.

It integrates VERY closely with Messenger. It has my Messenger contacts in it, and anyone who I add to my contact list also gets put into my Live ID. All of the messages that I get while I'm offline come into my Inbox, and Messenger notifies me of not only my Live Mail inbox but also my Gmail inbox.

I recommend this to anyone who has more than one Mail account or a Hotmail / Windows Live Mail account.

I thought that at first too. After a while, though, I found that especially since I have a gig of ram, it doesn't become a problem.

Just to mention I use WindowsLive vs Hotmail, and like that quite well for webmail.

At the moment I use outlook, which seems to be working for me very well. Have you used Outlook, and what are the differences?

How do you switch back from ThunderBird to a Microsoft Mail client? How do you convert the message storage?

Have been using it for a while, and I think its better than anything else I've used so far.

Just a tip on Junk Messages - press Alt, then you should see a bunch of menus. Choose "Tools" and at the bottom it says "Options". Then in the "Read" tab, uncheck the option saying "Mark messages read after (insert value) seconds". (Or w/e, something similar to that message). Now your messages won't open automatically unless you open them!

Amnon.. I use Gmail so all of the mail was still in my account after switching from Thunderbird. I would think you would be able to export/import using CSV.
