BSOD Help

Trust me, I've looked around the forums for this already

Okay, well I have successfully installed bootskins, set the Screen to be a Bootskin I downloaded from WinCustomize, but when I made one, it worked then it flashed a Blue Screen of Death and restarted. Any Ideas?

If the bootskin downloaded from WC worked fine, then the error is in your bootskin. Make sure you follow the .ini syntax. I don't think a missmatch of the progress and screen colors would cause a BSOD, but check that to make sure.

Usually it's the image either not being 640x480, 16 colours (4bit) or the background and progress bar not being from the same colour palette. Any one or a combination of those will stop BootSkin in it's tracks.

FWIW... This particular behaviour is depends on how your crash recovery settings are setup. These can be found in System Properties (rightclick 'My Computer' or in Control Panel->System)->Advanced->Startup & Recovery.

Yours is probably set to automaticlly restart...
