HanoiJohn ...One more time.. with no feeling

"I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform and I personally apologize to any service member, family member or American who was offended," Kerry said in a statement.

For the real stupid, this means

" I am sorry YOU ARE TO STUPID to get my joke>.

This is a non apoligy from an elitist democrat that thinks he is BETTER THAN US common folk.

This is also a slap in the face of every American that has served, is serving now or ever will serve.

I do not know, I know when I say I messed up and am sorry I mean it. that is the only rule of thumb I have.

He has made it plain that not only does he NOT MEAN IT, BUT he thinks we are to stupid to know the difference.

Yeah I know, pretty typical of the Loons when you think about it. Must be why they love him so much; he's their role model.

Did he ever apologize for saying that US soldiers terrorized Iraqi women and children in the night?

No.

Did he ever apologize for, or even address and attempt to explain, his anti-Vietnam comments, shitting and pissing on his comrades and their efforts, before the Senate Commitee back in '73?

No (and that's the main reason he didn't get my vote).

How about for throwing his medals, including those three purple hearts----the ones he trotted out so proudly, and frequently, when running for president----into a trashcan fire at an anti-war demonstration?

No (and that's another reason).

Hairy Kerry apologized because his Democrat cronies shuddered at his comments, knowing full well that any capital they earned by any October Surprise(s) they may have pulled (read: Foley) was suddenly and severely lessened in value. They probably told him to get his dick out of his hand and say you're sorry. In a hurry.

first, nice to "see you, stranger"

Did HanoiJohn ever apoligize for having a meeting in Paris with the enemy while we were still at war?
NO

I would not vote for HanoiJohn if he was the last politician on earth.

He is the single strongest reason I switched parties in 2003, 35 years I voted democrat.. 35 years of my life devoted to them, and what do they do? put a scumbag for high office.

So how many times is that has Kerry disgraced and insulted the military?

John Kerry is the face of the democratic party. They can't stand the military and they take no shame in insulting them.

No, in fact it is what got him his start in politics.  Betraying the military is the basis for his entire career...

Yes, what exactly do an inactive Naval Reserves Lieutenant and an Enemy General talk about while sipping coffee in Paris during a war?  And why doesn't the Democrats insist on an answer to this treason?

It looks like he has been benched by the Democrat powers that be.

Jay Leno had a great line.  He said Kerry appologized, blamed it on Booze and is checking into rehab for 30 days.

Is that the Mel Gibson excuse or the Foley excuse?

If Gibson had been giving advice he would have first told him to get really drunk and then blame it on the Jews.

I am pretty sure by his betrayal of joe lieberman, he has already shown he does not like zJews.

Y'know, Foley may or may not be a perv, but it's still pretty sad to think that the Democratic operatives sat on the messages in question for 6 months before letting them out.
Just in time, mind you, for maximum political and election impact. Then they want to point to and hide behind the old "think about the children" play.

God, I love Democrats.

Does anyone have any idea, seriously, how often the Republicans use the October Surprise ploy? Just curious. Maybe I'm biased, but I really only remember the Dems using it to any great number of times. Anyone?

Well let's see, there's Bush getting his oil company buddies to lower the price of gas; that probably qualifies and I'm sure Karl Rove had something to do with Kerry's 'stuck in Iraq' comment. Oh yeah and there was that last minute statement from bin Laden a few years ago that the Republicans got him to release right before the election. Damned clever on Rove's part if you ask me.

I may be able to think of more but just go to Democratic Underground and I'm sure there you'll find more underhanded shenanigans of this sort being attributed to Republicans.

Ok, I know you said seriously but I couldn't resist.
