Err.. what the hell?
If they want to mod galciv, they come over here. If we want to mod The Movies, we go over there. Why on earth would modders form an alliance?

Because I play the movies?

They're different games that are modded differently. There's no reason for an "alliance" of modders who mod different types of games, in a different genre, that use different files to mod.

I'm altgod who are you?

anyway lets be honist were all geeks hear and a moders guild would be good for all pc gamers

I'm not a member of the movies forums, I just play the game.

No, an alliance of modders wouldn't be good for these two games. They are a different genre, attract different sorts of people, and generally have different mods. Also, they require different modding ability.

It's a pointless idea. If they wanted to mod our game, they'd be here. And vice versa.

was the last bit an echo?

maby if i tell people they will
don't nock it till you've tryd it

Stop being dense. The games are fundamentally different to mod, and are modded by seperate groups of people. You CANNOT mod one game and change another. I can mod GC2 completely, but I'm no good with modding the movies.

Yeah, it was an echo. Your idea is pointless. I'm giving you a response.

If you think it'll work, go do it yourself.

There are sites that deal in modding in general, such as moddb.com. Given the entirely different nature of The Movies and GalCiv II, it'd make more sense to have a community of =general= modders, than it would be to have a community focusing on GalCiv II and The Movies..

I can't even see how the two games can intersect at all, yes you have sci-fi props but it'd be pretty damn hard to describe anything in GCII via a movie generated in The Movies.

An alliance of modders would be good, you could make site that addresses a range of games and offer good mods to a extended aduenice of gamers
