Fan from OS/2 days....friend introduced me to original Galciv...I was hooked!

I ran OS/2 for years just so I could keep playing GalCiv. I had given up on ever seeing it come out on Windows, but kept Stardock's URL bookmarked after finally laying OS/2 to rest. Found out about the beta on a random surfing spree to old bookmarks. There is no such thing as wasted time.

End transmission.

Remembered it from the old OS/2 game when I read about it being done for Windows on the web. Not sure where but cold have been Gone Gold or Blues News.

I remembered the OS/2 version. Heard a windows version was in the works. Popped in on the official site every once in a while to see how far along it was. Started paying close attention a couple months ago.

Can't really remember. It was in Mid-May 2002. Most probably GameSpy or Apolyton.

I saw it on Apolyton years ago--when SMAC was about to come out. It was one of the "alternative civs."

Stumbled upon info about Galciv OS/2 when searching for some info on old TBS games ca. year ago.

early flash in the french gamer journal 'Joystick' in September saying 'it could perhaps be a concurrent for moo3'. Now it looks like it's the opposite...
