gtr wallpaper upload strangeness etc

ive just tried again and yet again both of the wallpapers submitted got accepted but are only in my personal gallery, why are they not going into the public/ main one ???
i didnt check the show only in my gallery check box

This isn't strange, it's normal. Stardock moderate wallpapers and some they feel are not up to going in the public gallery they put to personal pages instead of rejecting them. Uploading more than once will not get round this   

ok well i didnt know this so ofcourse i thought it was an error as i thought if it wasnt good enough it would be rejected (which im use to happening) so i tried again to see if it was an error but now i know. just dont know how this will help me share to the community though as who the fe*k knows about my personal gallery. aww well never mind
shame they didnt think they where good enough ;(

Those that do know, also know if they see something they like, they can click the artist's name, go to the profile, and from there that person's skins.

ah., Sir. Bichur, no becouse a person has an old membership that means that he/she would know like everything.., remember that some of them just came here to download or just look around and see how cool our skins are (lol., in that last part i was just kidding)...

tycus this is very true, although i have been here since 2001 i actually only use to come in 2001 and that was for a couple of weeks. it was only in the last few months ive been comming back and thought i would actually share and create something to the community so i really dont know about how it works.
anyway aslong as people can still download my wallpapers im happy

seriously EZ...just keep trying! eventually you will get one on there...A 4 star wallpaper can be seen by anyone, 3-1 1/2 stars is available to all registered users, and anything less usually goes to your Gallery or gets rejected. I've submitted about 40 Wallpapers since i've been here and i finally got one on the main gallery yesterday! So dont give up

im not giving up mate and i already have two in the main gallery, this is why i was asking what was going on cause i thought they either got rejected or accepted. i didnt know they also get side tracked straight to your personal gallery.
btw the F1 wallpaper in the public gallery has been downloaded over 10,000 times
and expect more and more wallpapers from me as im on a roll

an fyi: you can alway include a link to your page on your uploads

Bichur: cool tip didnt know that, i shall make sure i include my web site on all uploads from now on
that would allow people who see something there that they think would make a wallpaper on request. good idea mate
