The end of the yoyo

That's it. I am so frustrated. I have watched my weight creep up for the last few months and I weighed in this morning at 160. That is 15 lbs more than where I should be and 13 more than I was last year at this time.

I've watched myself slide. I've made excuses why my day was so rough that only chocolote would save me. I've eaten junk food late at night becuase it was "special occasion" (day ending in Y) I quit my job and managed to NOT start my new one. All this fun has pushed me to this point.

I only own 1 pair of jeans. Old Navy Size 6. Honestly, 6 isn't cutting it. 8 may not either. I refuse to buy a bigger pair. i dont' live the yoyo diet life again.

I'm making a public statement.

I WILL start drinking water again.

I WILL stop eating after 7 pm

I WILL avoid chocolote and junk food

I WILL start exercising even if I"m not teaching full time!"

You know, through blogging I've found that making "public statements" is quite an effective way to change for the better.

You looked fantastic in those pictures you posted of the Army ball (was that the occasion?). It wasn't that long ago! Everyone is their own worst critic, right?

But you know yourself best and I hope you're feeling wonderful about everything soon.

The drill, as I understand it, is:

Deployment: Lose weight, get in better shape.

Husband at home: Chub up.

LOL. Seriously, though, Angela's right, you looked breathtaking in your Army ball photo.

Good luck with your new resolution. I've got quite a bit of weight to take off after the baby comes, so I hear ya (only I can see your 15 lbs. and raise you 15-35 more!! Hehe).

I think that women should STOP trying to fit into one size, quit griping about weight and just celebrate health! In other words, get over it.
