WE NEED TO BAND TOGETHER TO TOSS THE POLITICIANS

either passively or non.....

I am totally fed up with what appears to be the "general" population. Are people really that naive and ignorant with regards to politics, the rich, and generally the war machine/industrial complex as a whole. Can people not see what is happening before their very eyes or are they too mesmerized by what Paris Hilton is wearing today? Let's face it, the politicians have to go, period. No man or woman who has never tasted poverty can truly represent the masses. We need a change in this country people, whether it be non violent or violent will be up to the ruling elite, and you know they won't relinquish the throne voluntarily so.....

Are you advocating a violent revolution? Who are you going to replace the politicians with?

Though I understand your point, I, in a way, have to agree with him. I believe what he is saying is we should get new people, people who will better serve their people. We should not hold on to those who do stupid things. We should remove those who do not work for the people. Some of us believe that countries like Iraq and Iran only understand death and destruction. The truth is that, in a difference sense, so do Americans. No one stands up to crime now a day till one of their own gets hurt or dies. No one cares about what happens in the streets till something happens to them. revolution may be a bit over kill, but something must be done. And that something is for us average Americans to wake up, get up, vote for the right people (whether it be dems or reps) then after we chose, we stay on top of them and make sure they do what is best and beneficial for us not themselves.

We need change more than Iraq does. And I don't necesasarily mean Bush. I mean politicians in general. We the people need to show these politicians that they are there for us, not themselves.

I've always felt we needed term limits. But naturally those people will never enact such a limit upon their own jobs.

vote for the right people

How many of them were thought to be the right people when they were elected?

That would be like bitting that hand that feeds them, themselves. That's not a bad idea though.

I knew someone would have this type of question. My mistake was to believe that they would get what I meant. The right person would be the people that we vote for that know we will actually be keeping an eye on them and that we will be making sure they are doing their jobs in our name not for personal gain. In other words, the right people are ourselves, the non-politician part of this country. I know this is all wishful thinking, but it's the way it should be and we can at least give it a shot. If it doesn't work, (to steal a bit From Clinton) at least we tried.
