how do i do a multiplayer campaign?

i always click on the "join multiplayer campaign" when i'm playing, while i'm online, but nothing ever shows up. is it because no one is there, or did i miss a step? thank you in advance for helping.

I would like to play against somebody if anyone is up for it. I'll try setting up a game tonight and other days this week and if anyone wants to play, look me up.

To get a game started online you have to have opponents ready to play. This game is over two years old and frankly most who played online did so before the 2004 election. If you want to play someone online then I would suggest that you put the times you would be waiting for an opponent on this board, including your time zone. I would also suggest posting which party you wish to play.
