Democrats Don't Know What Our Troops Look Like.....

http://michellemalkin.com/archives/006073.htm

Democrats supports the troops, but they don't know what they look like. This graphic was pulled from the DNC website when bloggers noticed that the soldier was not wearing a U.S. uniform.  He in fact is a solider, but from the Canadian military.  Upon further review it was found that the picture was even manipulated to hide a "badge" on the soldiers beret.

They even photoshopped off his badge on his beret.

So this is the Dabe I heard about. Not impressed. And I thought Col gene could be childish. I see why people like you so much Dabe. You're one of those people who have nothing better to do than to return to previously banned sites and try to get under peoples skins. You're a sad individual to return to a place you are not wanted, guess you having trouble finding a date or something? Do you know what a life is? Ever gotten laid? Does mommy still tuck you in at night? I can't point you to a site where you can save some money on pull-ups. I know i do for my little son. If you represent what the Democratic party really is, then I would be glad to have Folley stay. The lesser of 2 evils.

Dabe doesn't represent the Democrats any more than terrorists represent Islam. That's actually a pretty damned good analogy.

Myrrander and I are night and day in politics.

A good point.  But it looks like the picture got pulled from the page that Island Dog referenced -- which means that he and other bloggers talked enough shit to make the DNC website get a little more honest.

I approve of that.

I'm even happy that this article got featured, any article showing how the 2 main parties engage in sleight-of-hand is kick ass to me.  Even if my sympathies lie with the party skewered.  Even if the link is to Michelle Malkin.

Nobody can realistically deny the two photos posted.  All evidence is pointed to the fact that the DNC, for whatever reason, altered the photograph of the soldier in question.  Of course, it was a black soldier -- that fits into the DNC paradigm just fine.

Then they got caught photoshopping.  I'm not even well-versed enough in medals, etc., to know what they did to this person.  What's clear to me, though, is that a photo was changed in order to make a point.  That's bad business for anybody of any party on any day.  No exceptions.

When I went to the part of the DNC site that this screen shot comes from, the soldier's face was replaced by a graphic of an American flag.  Which means that Island Dog and his compatriots helped nip a lie in the bud.  Good for them.  Very good for them.  That's what bloggers are here for, to eat lies up and spit out truth.  Whether it is bloggers who showed the truth about Kerry's swiftboaters or bloggers who uncovered the lies about Dan Rather's report about Bush's National Guard service -- that's what blogs are for.

And I support that, even when it uncovers lies that might benefit the party I sympathise with.  Because if my party are liars, then to hell with them.  I want to vote for a party that tells the truth -- and we can all agree with that across the spectrum.

Good job, Island Dog, you might not ever hear it from me again.  But this is a good catch, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Cheers.

And that earns you a bit of respect.

Did I say that?

Ironic, Mikey Moore has no problems finding troops who are democrats, but Howie seems to have to resort to photographic tricks. ;~D

Just glancing at the link shows that there is evidence that this is actually a Canadian soldier. Thing is, even photoshopped, there are plenty of differences between the presented uniform and any uniform that US services use... There should be a blue flash and unit insignia on the beret, for example, not to mention that odd flower-thing that would not allowed on our uniforms.

Why did they do this? I have no clue. It just doesn't make sense...

Weird. It's just dumb to do something like that.

It is not unprecedented. After all, CNN did it before.  It is just the latest patern.  Unfortunately for them, the Internet will not let their lies stand.

Wow... this reminds me of when a democrat is asked what do they think will happen when the army is just pulled out of Iraq and they say something like "well bush's policy isn't working" and just leave it at that.

Answer the question directly. It doens't have to be a yes or no, just answer the question directly without talking about how bush failed.
