Widgets Ignoring Windows HTTP Proxy Settings

I'm having issues with widgets that try to pull information via HTTP - the weather widgets, for example. I have my internet settings in XP configured to use a proxy server (no auth required). IE uses the proxy correctly. However, the weather widget does not. I can see the widget trying to directly access the internet via HTTP by watching my firewall logs. Is there some DesktopX configuration page I'm not seeing where I need to set up networking properties?

The Core Weather widget, for example. It's stuck showing my the weather from Puerta Vallarta. As soon as I ask it to pull local weather, my firewall starts showing dropped requests to various internet sites on port 80 from my workstation. The requests should be going to a proxy server per my internet settings.

I get Puerta Vallarta when importing in Builder instead of just loading.

But either way lets me change to my zip.

Maybe you have to allow it in your firewall?

No, you shouldn't have to. It should use the proxy.
