And the GUI Champs '06 marches on!  Since Monday, you've been voting on Most Usable Wallpaper.  Today, we're shifting gears a bit and begin voting on Most Original wallpaper. 

Most Original Wallpaper

Usable was all about, well, usability.  The Most Original Wallpaper event doesn't have anything to do with easy of use, icon readability or any of that other fuzzy feel-good sort of stuff.  This event is all about pure "cool".  What is the most outlandish, awesome looking wallpaper submitted to the competition?  Which of the walls just screams "WOW!" at you when you view it?  Which one is the most unique? 

So go forth! Vote!  Pick the sweetest looking wallpaper you can find in our ever-expanding competition library.

Voting for Most Original Wallpaper will continue through Sunday, October 8th.  On Monday, October 9th, we will begin user voting on Most Usable Icon Set, and post the top-10 walls in both the Usable and Original categories for your review.

Yeah, only 3 really makes it tough. Most original? I need maybe 9 choices or so...
O.K., rules are rules...here goes...
By the way, if we vote, and new walls are added, then we didn't get a chance to vote on the latest submissions before closing...
So, maybe have to wait 'til the last hour to vote.

It is the risk people take, submitting their work after voting begins.  It's allowed, but chances of votes lower.

Man, I missed the most usable wall vote!

Choosing only 3 is difficult, but I just spent hours going over the submissions several times. I wrote down the ones that grabbed me right off the bat and then went back and looked at some more in detail. Sure enough, my gut reactions were the ones I liked best. So I put in my vote for most original! Do we get to see how all of the walls ranked or only the winner?
