I do not know what the issue is about William Casey. What I do know is that over time, since Watergate up to today, what Woodward has reported has been shown to be very accurate unlike what Bush, Cheney, Rice and Rummy have said. Woodward uses multiple FIRST HAND sources that KNOW what took place in each instance. When you look at the collective information from the sources Woodward and many other authors have sighted, the picture is clear to ANYONE that wants to know the truth. The President and his minions have lied, selectively use Intelligence, told half truths and improperly used classification to hide any information that did not support what the President wanted to do or that did not reflect well on him or the GOP leadership.
