Blog is Blogged down?

I cannot open a blog page - not mine nor anyone elses, is this my fault or is the system down? This has been the case for about 17 hours give or take

If it is my fault - any suggestions on what to turn on or off to get it to open again?



Another thing, all my email address books (3 email boxes) have dispappeared out of outlook express, is there a way of finding them through the files - if so where would I look and any ideas what the file name would be withing the outlook files ?

Did your system lately pop up a permission form saying something like "Outlook Express can compress email files to save space...continue?" and did you o.k. it? Happens to me bi-monthly, and I say yes, and still find all my emails.
Using XP Home a couple of yrs. ago, OE used to save my emails (auto-save    ) under a weird filename, like ".DSX" or something. I couldn't ever open them again. Maybe do a search for .eml files on yr system. You've probly already tried that...
Address book? I don't keep one, but usually save mail buried among labyrinthine (cool word) files. No address book=less chance of being used as a "cutout" spam and virus forwarder, I think. Dunno, I just don't keep addys except as emails or on textfiles, with spaces in them to foil trojans or whatever...

yes that did happen recently, the emails are still visible, but the address books are empty.

The same thing was happening to me until I cleaned up all my cookies. I ran CCleaner, but if you don't have that free program (although I highly recommend it) just delete all your Temporary Internet Files and cookies, clear your history, and see if that won't work.

Thanks guys, it is all fixed, it was the cookie thing.

Now I just have to find out where my address books have gone from outlook express, disappeared inot thin air they have..
