What the NIE report says is that the Iraq war has INCREASED the number that hates us and thus makes defending our country harder. Face it-- the War in Iraq was an error and Bush and Cheney will not look at the reality of the danger.

First the AP and NYT reports were not true. Then it was wrong that they were released. Now that part of the report has been declassified and shows that the Iraq War has increased terrorism and is the CAUSE of the increased terrorism. What lie will Bush and Cheney tell next?

I do get the feeling they hate us more now, but I do not know how to quantify nor qualify their hate against how they felt before.
I do feel that America is less safe now thanks to Bush but how to we compare prior hatred to current hatred and come up with a number?

Added number of terrorists world wide
The terrorists have moved into more countries compounding the security problem.

In addition, the President of Pakistan was interviewed within the hour on CNN and flatly stated he disagrees with Bush about the War in Iraq and said our invasion has made terrorism worse and the world LESS SAFE!.

Not quite true. If you actually read it on CNN's site you'll see that he did say that the war "has made the world a more dangerous place", but he did not say it has made terrorism worse. Yet another lie from you on that one.

The terrorists were attacking us many years prior to Iraq and we did nothing about it. We weren't in Iraq on 9/11/01. We weren't in Iraq when the USS COle was attacked. We weren't in Iraq when the Marine barracks was attacked.

I saw the CNN interview yesterday and the President of Pakistan said the Iraq War has made the world “LESS SAFE”. He was then asked if he disagreed with President Bush about the impact of our invasion of Iraq and he said "HE DID NOT AGREE WITH BUSH".

If we have disrupted their leadership, why are the level and change in their tactics taking place? The NIE says they have expanded and moved to other countries. That does not sound like their effectiveness has been reduced. What must be taking place is that as we kill a leader they have others willing and ready to take up the fight.

The bottom line is that the Iraq War is the source of the increased terrorism thought the world. That is what the NIE and the President of Pakistan have concluded. That does not make us safer!
