Earning BIG CREDITS!!!

Three ways to do this...

Now everyone knows that Trading with other races can give you some extra credits, also get some from marketing buildings that gives some extra economic boost based on your population levels. Most players hate this becuz gotta watch out for Morale otherwise it will get worst by adding too many farms and crap load of marketings is kinda stupid.

Now the big issues that most players dont realise that is also come from Manufacturing too. Let say you build three factories with no bonus on tiles, so if you wasnt building anything at the moment (no upgrade) you will earn extra credits for Manufacturing Points: 1MP = 1BC.

So get some minor planets for backup so you can build something fast like an extremely huge project or making one constructor every weeks.

I didnt care for other races, so there is no need for me to get involved with United Planets. This the only ways to get myself alotta credits and dont forget to build crap load of Economic Starbases it would give you economic bonus, but only Production and Research only. So watchout for Researching on any planets becuz it will eats your credits like mad (1TP = 1BC).

Good luck, enjoy.

Sorry but I think you have the tail wagging the dog.

You don't "earn extra credits" by not building anything on your tiles. The credits were earned through taxes or trade. The advantage is that you are not SPENDING the credits you have earned, and thus get to keep more money per turn. Same with research.

Manufacturing buildings and research buildings do not make money.

You are missing the point, i didnt say building anything the factories are (IDLE) so having several planets that has 3 factories can earn extra few more credits. So if you build something (building/ship) that extra credits will be gone.

So i wouldnt build everything at every week, esp not all planets. Wouldnt hurt to have extra planets for backup until finishing their projects then switch back and fourth. IE: building starbases and defenders until there is enough.

So if there any buildings that needed to be upgraded it will kick in, unless you cancel it.

Beside that what i been doing and it working for me... i had this planet with over 50 military productions, so when i build a ship i was losing some credits there becuz i was overdafted my manufacturing and when the ship was completed i cancel it so it wont continue building another. Back where i was with anther 40+ credits on that planet.

No Tertullian is correct. When your factories are producing something it costs you 1 bc per each SP or MP produced. This 1 bc comes from your total income. When your factories are idle you simply save credits you already earned. Your net income and therefore the amount of cash in your treasury increases but you aren't earning any extra money. If you do this consistently it implies you have excess production capacity that's wasting money because you still have to pay maintenance costs on your idle factories.

Hi!
What about bonus production? Isn't 50% of it free? Wouldn't that be converted in "free" money when unspent? Currently I don't have the game available to test that. Will do the test when I get home.

Hmm guess i was wrong then, funny how my Capitol wasnt losing any credits that way. Guess i had way too many Military Productions at that time. When Production is IDLE had a huge credits coming in.

So i tested several other games and check to besure by making this as a secondary planet not the Capitol. So, sorry i got this infos wrong.
