how could we survive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one year ago i went to my home country (Iraq) to see the American's freedom , when i was in my way to my house i saw most of the building got burned, the street got destroyed & many awfull things , i said to my self well , maybe its the cost of freedom! day by day things going so bad & i lost the hope . people trying to live with no gas , no electricity , no water!!
everyday we used to fill something with water to use it carefully for the whole day!
i can imagine how people could live without electricity , how they suffer to get gasoline but it seems very difficult to live without security! living in fear is the most difficult thing for human to live with. i spent one year of fear while others dying everyday with that aw full feeling. i used to hear about the animals rights in the whole world especially in big countries such as the united sates , I'm wondering where is the human right when there soldiers made these offensive things in abo gorabe prison! where was these rights when they killed so many people just because they thought that they might do somethings against them & when they discover the truth they just solve there murder by saying sorry!!! sorry i killed your brother because when i saw his car i thought he is terrorist!!!!!!! now tell me , is your sorry going to return the people i love to me! is it going to heal my wound? i don't think so . im not writing now to tell you that it was great days since saddam's peiod goverment,
at that time also we were suffering, but we were looking for life & freedom , we were wishing to live our life just like others do in other countries but what we found was really terrible because we jumped from the fry pan and then into the fire!

My heart bleeds for you and your FICKLE people. Why do they fight one another for domination? If they stopped their silly warring among the different peoples you might have peace.

The fact you do not have peace is your own faults, drop all the bullshit of hating one another and follow the government in power to retore peace so that you can hold CIVILISED discussions and solve the problems you face instead of killing one another.

You people are so fickle when the Americans destroyed Saddams power base - your people rejoiced in the streets pulling down statues of the twit - grateful to be free....................... since then all your people have done is fight fight fight..................................

The statue toppling was a staged photo op, jennifer1.

Yaseen and 'his people' may seem 'fickle' to you, jennifer1, but they didn't ask for our involvement - we gave it. With or without their consent.

Be that as it may they still celebrated in the streets and waved and laughed etc they were joyous about it, now they hate the idea they should make up their minds what they want. I do not believe that every news report I watched of live footage was staged.

I think I know what Iraqis want - a theocracy devoid of American involvement.

Whatever they want, they have to stop fighting among themselves - then the Americans, the Brits and all other farts they do not want there will leave - can they not see that?

fighting your neighboor is probably the longest song of history. The only thing that would unite Iraq would be if Iraq is launched in a conflict with outsiders.

That's what united the Germans : WW1

North Ireland is more peaceful today because of the War against Terror

I know there are a few other examples, but sectarian violence never ended simply because both sides wanted to stop. It stopped because they had to obey to some more urgent needs.
