Not sure actually. We may have just ignored that for UI reasons.

D.C. can't pick its own representatives, they are all selected without an official vote from the citizens.

Bleh, mixed up.

So this means that if you live in D.C. you are not allowed to vote for President, who lives right in your city?

D.C. gets 3 electoral votes, http://www.uselectionatlas.org/USPRESIDENT/state.php?year=2000&fips=11

And they elect a nonvoting delegate to the United States House of Representatives, two shadow senators, and one shadow representative.

Ok, while DC has never gone Republican in the years since it got EVs, it should at least be represented in the game. How are the EVs for it calculated at the end? Is it just based on how Maryland votes, or is it an automatic Dem pickup?

Technically, DC gets the same electoral votes that a state of the same population would get. This has always (?) been 3.

Actually, technically D.C. gets the same number of EV as the lowest population state. This will continue to be 3 at least until everyone moves out of California.

I think the DC rep to the House gets to vote on DC issues.

I definitely think that D.C. should be added as another territory since they get EVs.

But that would make things biased. The best D.C. will ever be is a Federal District.

Biased how? Wouldn't both candidates in the game have the chance to win those 3 Electoral Votes?
