Bush needs to GO!

George Bush needs to go

Events during the past few weeks clarify one fact – The President and Vice-President are on a very different agenda then the VAST majority of Americans. More and More Republicans are bolting from GWB and his agenda.

The events in Iraq and the continued insistence that that war is mainly part of the struggle that brought 9/11 to us is just not true. That violence that increases every week is because of the sectarian violence between the factions in Iraq NOT Al Qaeda as Bush and Cheney claim. If al Qaeda groups do begin to operate in Iraq it is because Bush and his invasion have allowed them to operate.

Look at Afghanistan. The situation on the ground is getting worse, we have not caught Ben laden and the poppy crop is bigger then ever and is providing the money for the terrorists there to expand.

The economy is falling apart. Ford and GM are in real trouble. Mortgage foreclosures are up at an alarming rate and the real estate market and new home starts are DOWN. Yet Bush tells us how great his economic policy is and how he has created all this economic growth for America! What BS. The facts reported day after day proves that for the average family things are getting worse. The trade deficit hit an all time high last month and the impact of CAFTA that Bush pushed is beginning to produce more trade problems.

Now Bush wants to change the Geneva Convention and has run head long into real opposition by Powell, many other generals and Republican and Democrat members of Congress. It is time for Bush to either go or be put in his place by Congress!

Only a pro communist fool would blame the problems Ford and GM are having selling their pieces of crap on the President. The sad fact is, They aren't selling cars worth buying.

Get it through your empty head you dolt! Unless you are willing to make the president a dictator, he can't possibly have the kind of authority he has to have to do all you blame him for.

It also seems to have escaped you that Bush can't run again... so why are you campaigning against him? You don't even know as much as the average 7th grader fresh out of civics class.

The sad thing is, you didn't kill yourself before you added to the wallow you call your gene pool.

This is an excellent example of what's wrong with Democrats and liberals today.

We already all agree that Bush needs to go. Term limits, remember?

Instead of wasting time on rants about how something, that is already guaranteed to happen, really needs to happen, Gene should be ranting about how the Democrats have a plan to make things better, and trying to convince us to vote for that plan and its political figureheads.

But Gene never says anything positive in support of his faction, only negative attempts to undermine the opposition.

We may have to endure that Idiot in office for two more years but we can and must end his policies in January 2007. As to my comments about the economy it is Bush who claims responsibility for what he tells us is his great economy that results from HIS policies. I am pointing out just how full of BS Bush is about the REAL economic condition of the majority of Americans.

The answers he gave at his news conference today show better then anything just how out of touch he is with just about everything. The man NEVER answers the questions asked. He has a hard time completing a single thought that makes sense. If I had voted for GWB I would be ashamed to admit I was that stupid! Look at ANYTHING- Iraq, Iraq, North Korea, The Middle-East Conflict, Lebanon, our relationship with other countries, the Trade deficit, Healthcare, Energy, deficit, border security, controlling illegal immigration, the Gulf recovery, Social Security/Medicare funding and education. YOU NAME IT and Bush has done NOTHING to help anything except to increase the net worth of the wealthy!

Classic. Anyone who disagrees with you is simply stupid.

Why would anyone engage you in serious discussion?

Gene, do you really have such a lack of understanding that you actually blame Ford and GM's financial problems on the president? Are you really that braindead?

The issue for MOST Americans is that the economic benefits Bush claims are just NOT REAL! Bush is not directly responsible for Ford and GM but the trade policies we are following do not help. Bush goes all over telling us how the great the economic condition is to people that KNOW it is not better for them. The poor and the middle income Americans KNOW their after tax and inflation income, the money they have to spend, DOES NOT BUY as much as it did in the previous year. That is why 2/3 of the people polled responded that they are worse off since Bush took office BECAUSE THEY ARE WORSE OFF SINCE January 2001! The ONLY economic group that have experienced a REAL after tax and inflation increase in their income and net worth are the top 10%.

Look at all the other issues I raised in #5. Bush has not been able to address ANY of the major issues facing our country. Any rational person would consider such a leader as a FAILURE! We elect a President to effectively deal with the MAJOR issues that face our country. Using that measure to evaluate the performance of GWB is gets an F! Please do not tell me about the responsibility of Congress. The GOP controls Congress and they have, for the most part, RUBBER STAMPED the Bush policies. In some cases they had to resort to the VP to vote in the Senate! The system of Checks and balances IS NOT WORKING MOST OF THE TIME! We need to restore the independence of Congress in November with a WIN by the Democrats! I say that not because I am a Democrat but because the GOP has abandoned what is best for our country!
