Atari Delays 'Silverfall'

Monte Cristo RPG Pushed to Febuary 2007

Atari has announced a delay in Monte Cristo's latest RPG Silverfall. The title was originally planned for release next month but is now expected to ship out in February 2007.

Silverfall is set in a world of opposing powers of technology and nature, and challenges gamers to save the principal city from falling by choosing between the factions. Decision making will play a large role in the title, affecting the player's character and two companions through the storyline and their accumulation of skills.

Players will enjoy an approximately 25-hour single-player campaign full of scientist troll magicians, elemental elf warriors, or mercantile goblins as they learn the various combat techniques of melee, ranged and magical battle. Four races will be available to play through the campaign as well as a pair of multiplayer settings - player-versus-player and co-operative.
