WHAT, NO MULTIPLAYER!?!

No, no I’m just kidding but I was thinking that it was about time that there was a post to complain about there being no multiplayer, there hasn’t been one of those for a while.
So I’ve put together a little pre-done complaint form with multi-choice options so people can chose the wording of the form.
So here goes.

Dear Stardock.

Let me just say that I just (a. loved the game. b. hated the game. c. was indifferent towards the game.) but after a few games single player, I wanted to play against my friends multiplayer. Imagine my (a. surprise. b. shock. c. disgust.) when I found out that there was no multiplayer!!!
For crying out loud Stardock, from a (a. loyal customer. b. disappointed gamer. c. Canadian.) I would just like to ask what were you thinking, I mean a game without multiplayer is (a. half a game. b. a rip of. c. totally devoid of any charm.) and as for the allegation that the developers would need to divert resource from the single player aspects I would just like to say that, that is (a. wrong. b. not a problem, who cares about single player anyway.)
Please, please, please don’t quote polls to me that say multiplayer users are a minority because it is wrong, I know for a fact that my (a. one. b. five. c. sixty) friend(s) would buy the game and tell their (a. one. b. five. c. sixty.) friend(s) to buy the game if it were multiplayer but now they wont.
Anyway Stardock I wont be returning to these forums because no one will answer this post anyway so it doesn’t matter.

The polls are non scientific and tainted. I've voted for the same multiplayer poll currently up six times because it has no cookie protections.

They could very easily make it so that the poll uses your login and ip address making it scientific and accurate. Until then its not the poll of the people. Its the poll of the GalCiv1 fanboys. Who go along with anything Stardock says good or bad. It was a rabib fanbase who snowballed Quicksilver over. During beta testing which created the horrible monster that is Master of Orion3. (Once again stating Moo3 isn't that bad fully modded but out of the box fully patched its horrible without the user made patches & mods.)

Well actually, even if they could limit the number of votes per person its still not a very accurate nor scientific poll. It’s a known statistical problem to simply take a poll like this online where those who have the most passion for the topic will voluntarily participate (and those people are typically the minority) while those who have some opinion but are not as passionate will not take the time to answer. To be scientific StarDock would have to randomly choose a number of people who play these types of games and poll them about multiplayer.

This does not mean that these polls are useless but do not really hold much weight considering the above. Still, they are fun to conduct as the results are always skewed.

I was just kidding....

I would love to see a fully patched/moded version of MOO3. I haven't played that game in sooooo long. A version you approve of, just to see where oyu are coming from.

did someone told you that there is a multiplayer? there are so many posts like this...

everyone think that (a. should be a multiplayer b. they don't care about multiplayer c. a multiplayer should be out of the question?) cause (a. I think multiplayer should be b. I really don't care and why are you asking me? c. I think multiplayer should not be in the game) and for conclusion (a. Master U is weird b. Master U is out of his mind c. Master U asking damn questions)

so the thing is that (a. multiplayer sucks b. multiplayer is fine c. multiplayer is the best thing that will ever happen to this game!) and (a.why am I asking that? b. why did you ask about it c. why the world even need multiplayer?) well, I don't know...
