permanent wormholes

I think permanent wormholes that would link two distant spots on the map would add a lot of strategy to the current 'terrain'. Currently there are no bottle-necks or barriers on the map. I would really like to see at least something added to the terrain.

Yeah, that would be cool. Do the whole Deep Space Nine thing. A wormhole could link two enmies who might not ordinatily see each other. And I heard somewhere that they are bringing out asteroid belts in one of the new versions or something?

The asteroids that are being added to DA are supposed to do the opposite, if I remember. They will create 'impassible' terrain.
