Square-Enix has been sued by MMOG and magazine publishers Soft-World International for some $3.78 million according to a report from the DigiTimes. The lawsuit stems from an alleged break in the sales contract between the two parties with Soft-World demanding that Square-Enix payback a royalty payment of $3.78 million.
Part of the agreement stated that Soft-World, whom handles many popular MMORPGs including World of Warcraft and RF Online, would get access to the title's source code to make distribution easier for them. Since they have yet to receive such access they believe they are entitled to a refund of the royalty payment as a way to resolve the dispute.
