Officially you can't. There is no multiplayer in GalCiv2.

I'm told there is a kind of way to do this within the cheat-mode, but I have never tried it.

I was told you can play a hot seat game. Looked it up. I have not tried it and not sure if it actually works but the cheat is said to be.......

Ctrl+shift+z

I got this information from the Wiki site along with all the other cheats.

easy.

You can use your 2nd race to make your primary better. You can colony rush twice as good as anyone else. You can potentially research twice as fast.

Its a cheat.

yeah I saw you can get 100,000 bc in a sec... that's too much cheating..
