Cows communicate in regional accent!

The farmers of London found that the cows communicate in their regional accent. The cows have a single syllable to communicate but they do it in using a regional accent as the study tells us. The cows have limited conversational skills. The herds in the West Country are mooing in their distinct Somerset twang. Some listeners describe this sound as “moo-arr” rather than moo. John Wells, professor of phonetics at the University of London thinks that this phenomena is found in birds also. They chirp in a distinct accent in the same species within the country. It means that a bird of the same species have a different chirping pattern based on locality. He thinks that it is found in cows also. In a small population like herd, we could find dialectical variation which are most affected by the most immediate peer group.

It is quite amusing to find that the farmers of London have a significant listening ability to distinguish this amusing fact. Cow is reared in large numbers in India also. But we do not find any such finding in our motherland.

They actually figured this out in a French pasture when they heard a distinctive "LeMooooo" from one of the cows!

What did cows actually do all day before we invented pastures and milking?

They strike me as perhaps the most irrelevant if not useless species of all.

It is quite amusing

Yes, Amooosing indeed. Or is that Amooo-arr-sing? Depends where you are I guess.

The steaks are too high for this to go on unrevealled... We've all herd "Cows With Guns" and can't let that ever happen! Of course, until we hear of one speaking like Gandhi or Cow Tse Tung, I guess we're Ok...
