TAXES-Do we pay enough?

TAXES-Do we pay enough?

Who are we really working for?

I'd love to give credit where credit is due. I found this among my "stuff" this weekend and thought I'd share. It's really not funny and actually made me mad when I read this. Are there any that I missed?

Mason.....you get an A. I loved your response. Right on IMO.

I think you should run for President. I'd vote for you. I like your platform.

Thanks. That's only one plank in my platform. I would also help both the overcrowding and parking problems in urban areas by instituting the death penalty for parking violations.

All I know is that, when I worked as a paramedic we made around $40,000... with that we qualified for a mortgage on a 4 bedroom house (yes, an older one, but still), while paying for our second car and I was looking for a motorcycle...

All the while my kids seemed to have what they needed in the way of food, clothing, school supplies and the ocassional family outing to dinner or a movie.

and yes, my wife was a stay at home mom.

and I was looking for a motorcycle...

Ted, don't take this wrong....but I hope you didn't get one. We've had so many deaths here recently regarding motorcycles and we live in a country atmosphere. Just last week a 16 year old pulled out in front of two motorcyclists. Both men were in their 50's. One died instantly and the other may not make it. Then again three days ago, a similar accident resulting in death as well. My fellow head coach got into two such accidents. Both were cars that didn't see him and pulled right out in front. The second one he almost lost his life. He said he'd never ride one again. It's not like the old days. Too many people on the road. Too many kids driving.
