bootskin time

I tried, but couldn't find the answer, so...

Is there a way to change the amount of time my selected bootskin runs. I've got the homer bootskin, and I don't really want/need it to run for aprox. 30/sec.

Yep, about 10 seconds for my system.

clean out a bunch of useless crap you don't use and pare down your startup list.
