no pictures possible - other options work correctly!

hi

i have a special problem: i can use standard skins, downloaded ones and own ones BUT
it's not possible to use a center-picture (no difference if tiled, fixed size, ...) at my own skins, not even to change the picture of a downloaded skin
->
the reason: the comment "rcbmp(....) in uifile.txt does not work
in the standard skins and the downloaded one, the comment isn't in the code either (in one of the standard skin isn't even text - only empty lines!) but there are pictures!
how is that possible? do i have the right version (free downloaded from www.stardock.com) or do i need to buy one???

i'm really desperated! because that would be the best software i ever had, if it ran correctly - so please help me!! (i have windows xp home with service pack2)

what type of picture are you trying to change to?
bmp/jpg/gif/tif/tga/png/?

By center picture do you mean splash style with the user accounts on it.
If so, the splash image is a 32 bit bitmap made with Photoshop. There is a tutorial here on how to make image but I can't remember where it is right now.

Or do you mean, going by you talking about setting to tiled or fixed size, a centered wall image in logon.
If so this can't be set in LogoStudio, you would have to create a wall with a black border so it will look centered when applied.

dragonmage SkinStudio has nothing to do with LogonStudio or creating logons.

No, a picture with the user accounts on it! (not centered)just a background wall!
i considered that it's a bmp but not 32 bit bmp, maybe that's the mistake, i will try it again with the other bmp type
if the situation won't improve i will post again

thank you for your quick answer!

By picture do you mean Bitmap_100. If so it must be a bitmap. Can't be anything else, can't be anything else with just the say .jpeg changed to .bmp. If a jpeg must be converted to bmp in graphics software.
