Configuration error on bootup

Same answer for same question in your other post.

Boot in safe mode
Run Bootskin and set to the XP default.
Reboot

i cant boot in safe mode though it wont give me that option it just comes up with the windows xp loading screen and thats when i get the error.

Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard and that should give you a screen where you can choose safe mode.

It comes up with a message saying the system is not fully installed. Please run setup again. Please help me...

I take it you were able to boot to safe mode. If so, then boot again to safe mode and run the install for bootskin. Load the Windows XP default bootskin and then reboot. You need to get the default WindowsXP bootskin to load.

No it came up to the screen where your going to go into Safe mode where it says your service pack at the top but before i can do anything that popup comes up... I hope that its not expensive to fix because i dont have a job and dont have much money.... (im almost to the point of just buying him a new computer T_T)

It shouldn't cost anything to fix other than time and you may have to start with a fresh install of WindowsXP or restore from a backup (if available).

Well we looked for a disk to restore his pc and couldnt find one and i couldnt find a copy of windows xp disk T_T... I hope it really doesnt cost much because i need to get a 200 dollar camera for school so thats 200 dollars out of my birthday present and i want to get a xbox 360 for the 600 dollars or so i would have left plus fix my car... So i really hope it doesnt cost much ive been looking forward to getting a 360 for almost a year now since they announced it.
