As Ultima Online approaches its tenth year in operation it will do so with a new-look. The seminal MMORPG was launched in 1997 and will be "reborn" sometime in 2007 with new graphics and a new easier-to-use interface.
Players should not worry about their accounts being altered since "you will be able to keep your characters, items, houses and everything else you've earned." But some subscribers may need to (finally) upgrade from their Pentium 133 Mhz machines since the update will bring higher required system specs, although the title's requirements will "still be far lower than almost any other MMORPG on the market."
