Make .ip out of .ico files

Hi,

I have a nice set of icons as .ico files and would like to make a Iconspackager Theme or package out of them.

How does it work with Iconpackager. Can they be imported as whole set?

Play with this but don't take it as official. I've only done this once but it did work. Open Icon Packager. Click on View and open Package Builder. It will present you with a generic presentation of all the types of files and icons that are used and their names. Right click on an image and select Change Icon. A new window will open to C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll which is full of icons. But not yours. Go up to the right corner and click on Browse. Search for where your icons are at. When you find the icon that you want to install click on it. In the next window click on OK at the lower right. Your icon will now show in the Package Builder. Go through and do the same thing for each icon and file that you want to change. When you are done click on Save As at the top and give the package a name and a location. Run Icon Packager and have it find your new package by clicking on Install New Package. That should do it.

I believe you can also drag and drop onto the one you want to change

Thanks for the replies. I have already discovered the way icon by icon. I thought there might be a way to easily map .ico-files to the icons and import the whole set.

Seems not, so I have to do it one after the other.
