Softball - Here Come the Playoffs!

So, the softball season is over. Last I blogged about it we were 2-3. Well, it turns out that this year, my team actually had some talent and skill on it. We lost the next game and went to 2-4, and then went on to win all the rest of the games! So we ended the season 11-4, in 4th place (potentially 3rd, not all the games have played out yet).

So, in a 12 team playoff, we get a bye for the first round. We have never made it to the second round of the tournament without having a loss, so this is big stuff. I can't wait to get out there and win some playoff games!

Guess you have not made it to the second round without a win either before now?

Double elimination gets us to the second round no matter what, so we played 2 and went home the last 2 years.

While the other team for my church plays and then loses the championship game... sigh!
