thats part of the price of bieng in debt. Just find some way to adjust the balance so that you are out of debt, selling old techs to other races for cash can help you get out of debt.

Your Mula is in the hole, And the "research" (collage) to get you out of the hole is too much.

several basic hints:

1) "Sell" your Tech's, Worthless ship's, and form "trade" route's.
2) Make your home planet, A economic Depot. 2 or 3 Basic Factory's, 2 morale center's, and the rest "trade market's". (And research up.)
3) "Mine" economic anomalies.
4) Increase the tax rate to 49%.
5) Race set up file's could be set up to +50% economy, Increase Trade route's, etc.
6) Raising your influence increase's your Economy as well. (tourism)
