Microsoft Outlook messages on the login screen

How do i get rid of it?

the email client i use is Outlook 2003. On the windows login screen, it says "X unread mail messages". does anyone know how i can get rid of this?

Expand ’Logon’ and uncheck ’Show unread mail on Welcome screen’
