playing on metaverse

You have to start a "Metaverse game" from within GalCiv 2. Upon completion, you'll be able to submit your score. (Doesn't work with "Normal" games.)

I'm not sure you understand correctly Emp. Stephen I, you just
start the game Galaxy Civ 2 and from the main menu choose 'metaverse', there you can login with your character information. If that's done, you can configure the game you would like to play with this character. After completion of the game the option of posting the score on the metaverse is given! Good luck!

Yes, you must first create a metaverse character on the website before you can submit game scores. There is a button in the game that will take you to the appropriate page to create your character, IIRC.

The important thing to remember is that AFTER you have created your character you must still start an "MV" game by hitting the "metaverse" button on the main menu of the game...NOT the "Play" button. (I've made this mistake myself...)

After completion of the game the option of posting the score on the metaverse is given! Good luck!

So You don't have to post your bad games? Wouldn't it be better if all Meta games are posted?

Well You Don't Have To Post Your Bad Games But Theirs A Catch That If You Do Post Them You Recive Points Anyways So It Makes It Worth It To Post Good Or Bad Games Alike !!!!!!Cyas In The Great Dark!

Hello I'm new and I was wondering why when I start up GalCiv2 the metaverse button is not clickable (for lack of better word). Is this because I have 1.3 beta or that I wasn't currently hooked up to the internet at the time or something else?

Probably because you need to be online to begin a metaverse game.
