Well, I suppose this entry will make it out there to that infinite land known as cyber space. It's amazing that I don't have to waste pen and parchment to write down my thoughts. I suppose I should introduc myself. The website URL as you notice has a "40" in it. That's not b/c I'm forty, rather b/c 40 is a very interesting number in the Bible. The flood lasted 40 days and 40 nights and Jesus was tempted by Satan for 40 days in the desert. "Trebek" is a nickname I earned on the tennis team at school simply for being a bit of a smarty pants, I suppose (of course, the fact that I have an audition to enter the teen tournament on Jeopardy proves that this nickname will haunt me through college). Other than that, before last week (the week of April 2) I had been having trouble sleeping. Well, not so much sleeping but dreaming. The dreams left me tired b/c they were so vivid. The first one was a Final Fantasy video game like dream. My friend Dontae was there dressed as Barret from FF7 and there was Black Materia surrounded by a fence. I entered the world map having to climb around on a fence trying to get in. Strange, but that's what it was. I can't remember many others except the last three before my insomnia fell away. The first was one about tennis and getting orange skittles from our coach. That's it. The second was the collection plate being passed around at church. Again, bore. The last was about football. Toa and I were under the bleachers in our pads watching a drill. The center would hike it and the team would run up ten yards. Don't know what that was about. No, I'm not crazy. Other than that, I'm currently on Spring Break and faced wth a couple of teenage problems. Not that big but still something to think about. I'm not sure whether to do football or marching band next year, that depends on if I get selected for Band Council. The second is about a girl. High school relationships are somewhat of a waste of time, but still even I find certain girls attractive. I have an ex who I really liked but unfortunately she's going away to college after the summer so I don't know what to do with her. Another girl, who will be referred to as.. hmm... let's say "nina"... Nina and I have had some friendly excursions, and I know she likes me, it really is obvious, and she knows I like her. But she tries to be hard to read and she has a boyfriend who happens to be a close friend and I don't want to overstep any bounds. Oh well, I suppose I'll go watch some movies now and get some lunch.
