So the last leg of the nationwide audition was in Davao, the Land of Promise (whatever that is). And here's the partial list of the "Gold Passers:"
1. Ann Quitoriano. I think I saw this girl in one of ABS-CBN's singing contests before. I thought she was better in her PI audition than in ABS-CBN's.
2. John Peter Paul Carried. Whew! What a name! Maybe I should consider changing my name to Matthew Mark Luke John.
I must say he had some pitch problems and kinda oversang it. Well, kinda.
3. Ma. Amor Bacharpa. Painter. Great Personality.
4. Archie Regencia. Some diction problem. I wonder if he is related to Denver Regencia of GMA's Pinoy Pop Superstar.
5. Jaime Miguel Barcelo. He went to Julliard (not sure of the spelling) in NY. Kinda not a stand out for me.
6. Myla Gracia Amales. Single mother. she had great control of her voice. Wow!
7. Joseph John Tempora. Good voice quality.
8. Richie Asibal. Teacher. Good enough.
9. Cjarah Perpetua. Great voice. Great heart. I applaud her for her great heart.
10. Armarie Lourdes Cruz.
11. Armando Cruz.
See you guys next week for the eliminations as we get closer to the final 24.
