The link does not work for me.

If I understand your question, you are looking for ways to upgrade your laptop.

If so, the RAM should be an easy upgrade. The motherboard will determine how much and what speed of RAM you can use to increase the system performance.

The hard drive may also be a candidate for upgrade, depending on the which model HP, or more importantly how old it is. Newer laptop's have easy access to the hard drive and you can usually order a larger drive (perhaps as much as 120 GB) from most computer parts vendors or purchase from many computer stores.

If you are referring to installing a new Operating System, then the RAM upgrade would be a very wise choice.

Please leave the model number and year you bought the laptop and someone could be more specific in helping.

For RAM you will need a 200 pin DDR.

You can find good deals at Newegg for that.

Any "standard" laptop HD should work fine.

Here are the various RAM sticks available on NewEgg.com WWW Link

I use Kingston memory, but there are others as well - Crucial, Patriot, Viking, etc.

Note - your machine can handle up to 2 GB, so purchasing (2) 1 GB sticks will maximize your memory in the system.

What's your native language? Someone here might speak it and that would probably help with understanding how to go about upgrading.
