The Socrates Circus Act

As I mentioned in another article Socrates likes to follow me into the bathroom. He likes to jump up on the sink but because it's so high for his little self he has to get a really good running start at it.

A few minutes ago I was in there and he came running full speed, launched himself too soon, let out a loud "mreoooooorw", and slammed squarely into the vanity door and rolled back out the bathroom door. I couldn't help it, I was laughing my ass off, it was so hilarious.

He wasn't hurt except maybe for his pride.

Mine's working on a serious household accident; mainly my foot in his ass if he doesn't stop knocking stuff off the kitchen counter.

I heard they don't like to step on sticky things, so you should put double-sided tape on the counter.

Thanks, but I really don't think that would be very hygienic. Next time I come home I'll make sure to bring the squirt bottle from the truck. It works wonders for training him.

if only Cyrano hated water, the bottle would have worked. His favorite place is in the sink when I wash my hands and brush my teeth.
he lays there with water pooling up behind his back while he leans forward to drink the water in front of him. (then he gets up and shakes the water off of his paws all over me.)

if only Cyrano hated water, the bottle would have worked. His favorite place is in the sink when I wash my hands and brush my teeth.

Mine is a typical cat, he hates water.

I wish that was what Sally is known for in the bathroom. However, she is lethal when it comes to rolls of toilet paper!

I've learned the hard way to keep the roll of paper towels out of his reach in the truck. It took me over an hour to clean up all the little bits of shredded paper.
