Ok., this is getting out of control...

maybe it's only me but the wallpaper section is getting alot of photos and this will end in a big confusion to the new members that would like to submit a wallpaper.., i mean, i know that we can submit a wallpaper into the Photograf category, but to me this would end up as a bad decision, soon almost all new members will end up submit just normal or edited photos., and not 3d or abstract walls...

...i hope that i'm wrong but if this continue, wincustomize would need to creat a photography section

Personally...the wallpapers I use most of the time are photos...I like something relaxing or inspring to look at on my desktop. In my opinion...the swirly stuff just doesn't do anything for me except give me a headache...and most of them look the same...are to busy...no orginality and not much thought seems to go into swirling something around on a canvas.

Basically...a photo can be used as wallpaper just as much if not more than the abstract stuff.

I agree with Webgizmos. I almost always use photos as my wallpaper pretty much for the same reasons.

I to use photos most of the time - but i dont think thats what Tycus was getting at.
I think he was implying that all the walls lately are photo's and noone seems to be uploading anything more complex.

We accept wallpapers for being a wallpaper.  We can't reject wallpapers simply because they were made by a certain means.

You will always see waves of different styles.
