An Infection, A cure, and a Cat

Yea, poor Scotty!  That mean cat of the 7.  He got a respitory infection.  And he was so sad.  Almost broke my heart!  He is not a nice cat.  But when I took him to the vets, he hugged me like I was the last love of his life!  And was very good (except when they took his temperature - ahem!).

We had to isolate him as it was contagious.  So he spent 10 days in a room that neither my wife or I have figured out what to do with yet in this house.  And he griped! But he was a loving cat!  Loved me like he has never loved another!

By the end of a week, he was ready to bolt.  But then 10 days, and I opened the door. (did I mention this room has a door to the outside?).  And he bolted!  Since then, he has actually been a nice cat.  Very strange!  What was that Virus?

But today, it is 104.  And he is lazing inside (my wife's choice, not mine).  And has been snoozing the day away.  So I went over to him to pet him and tell him "good cat".  and he Bit me!

Yep!  He is feeling fine!  Damn cat!  After the sun sets, he is going outside!

I don't whether to laugh with relief,  or cry about the sad part, or give that cat the evil eye for biting you!

Glad to hear he's ok,   can't can be strange!

My Wife insists that all our cats names start with S.  Garfield does not fit her requirements.

I am glad he is better, but he could be more appreciative of the Vet bill.
