Consumer Confidence Up

What will the gloom and doom liberals complain about now? Even gas prices aren't affecting Americans as bad as they hoped.

NEW YORK — American consumers shrugged off higher gasoline prices in July and grew a bit more optimistic about the economy, a private research group said on Tuesday.

The New York-based Conference Board said its confidence index rose to a better-than-expected reading of 106.5 from a revised 105.4 in June. Analysts had expected the index to fall slightly to 104.

I know I got a $9000 increase on the credit limit of two different credit cards so naturally, I've been spending more, more, more. Maybe that has had an effect of the the index.

seems like if you had 20 more cards like that--thus increasing the amount of cash you'd be able to invest in growing our economy by about $100,000--you'd deserve to benefit from some of them top tier tax breaks.
